CPAE – Council of Peers Award for Excellence – inducted into the National Speakers Association Hall of Fame in 2005
In Feb.1977, the National Speakers Association established the Council of Peers Award for Excellence Speaker Hall of Fame to honor professional speakers who have reached the top echelon of platform excellence. To date, out of thousands of professional speakers in the world and the hundreds that are nominated each year, only 173 men and women have been inducted into the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame. Currently, there are 116 living members in this prestigious fraternity.
Only professional speaker to ever have been invited to tour a war zone and speak to our troops: 12 bases, one aircraft carrier, 23 speeches, 30,000 troops, 23 standing ovations! Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan!
Dan is honored to carry the Olympic Torch on February 6, 2002 in the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games

After inspiring and working with the teams, Dan was awarded a State Championship football ring in 1978 from Morgan High School, a Super Bowl ring from the Oakland Raiders and a State Championship ring from Skyline High School as a coach in 2005
